Job Description

4Geeks is looking to create a curated, high-quality database to answer the most popular coding-related questions on the internet. Your job as a writer is to provide immediate and straightforward answers in plain English (or Spanish) with code samples.

Whenever you write an answer, think like you are writing it for yourself. Is it providing useful information? Is it clear and concise? Is there anything else to clarify? Is there background knowledge you need to give to make the answer understandable to the target audience?

All answers must be optimized following the principles established in the following bullets:

• Keep the language straightforward and simple, do not use overly sophisticated words and phrases, and check that they are not overly “chat-GPT-ish”.
• Begin the article speaking about the most relevant things about the article, for example: If the article is about “software developer portfolio,” do not start by defining what a software developer is, start by talking about the portfolio right away. Only define what a developer is further into the article (if deemed necessary for comprehension).
• Define who the article is targeting and write accordingly. For example, if the targeted readers are absolute beginners, you must explain every term you introduce to ensure they understand.
• Include concrete examples and real life cases whenever possible.
